Another new task......
Here she is, Lil' Ms. Natalie showing off her newest skill. Not only can the girl crawl like a pro, she can now stand with little assistance .......isn't she a darlin lil' love bug?
What the heck is this???
After many months of trying to figure out what in the world to feed Natalie, I spoke to her allergist and we decided the girl needed food! So the allergist checked and found that she tested negative to white potatoes. So I got her organic white potatoes and she told me to make her french fries and let her try them. I baked them in olive oil (yeah for not being allergic to olive oil either) and she loved em! Check out how in love my baby girl is .....her first "real" food. Makes me smile. She seems to like them so I think I'll make some more tomorrow.
I also spoke to her ENT this week and it looks like she'll be having her adenoidectomy and tubes put in on May 11th. He is also going to clip her frenulum so she won't have speech problems later as well! I'm looking forward to a less congested baby....maybe she'll sleep better then. Until the surgery she'll be on a preventative antibiotic and she also has to have a few nebulizer treatments per day so that her lungs will be clear and less inflammed as well. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers .......and please pray for a healthy baby soon!

Baseball Season has begun!
Here is a photo of Brendan at one of his baseball practices (doesn't he look so serious?)- He loves the game and does a fabulous job! Such a good kid my Brendan and I'm not just saying that either! He is truly the most perfect son a mom could ever ask for! Just perfect. He even tried to comfort his sister yesterday when she had no clue as to what she was doing at softball. He told her she was getting great hits and that he was proud of her! I melted. He also offered to help her practice her swing and help her with the "rules" of baseball so she'd be better prepared next time. To see them helping each other just truly melts a mother's heart......and then there's a photo of Lil' Ms. Della Kate practicing her baseball swing even though she won't play again for a few years! Practice makes perfect right? I'm so proud of them all. They did such a fabulous job........

Downward Dog........
Lovely, lovely, weather
It is has been so beautiful outside this week and the kids have gotten such a great opportunity to be outside and do what they do best- Play! Here is a great shot of Brendan, Della and Allie out on the swing set..of course, Samma was in school so she wasn't in the shot. Speaking of school, I just realized I never signed Samma up for summer camp this year and there are no slots left......will this be a fun summer or what????

What Lipgloss Mom?
Who is wearing your lip gloss mommy? Hmmmm. I wonder. She wouldn't admit to it, but she kept sticking that lil' poutin lip out! It is so delicious I may just kiss it! Well, I got what I wished for at some point in my life....a girlie girl. From her luscious glossy lips, al the way down to her tiny little pedicured toes!
Getting some lovin'

What I wouldn't do for a morning cup of java
Ahhh this beats yesterday
So the weather here is gorgeous! I told the kids to go out and enjoy it while they can and boy did they ever! All my lil ones, plus Samma's best friend Aubree and cousin Dylon decided to go out in the sun...the sun, sun, the sun! First sighting in a week! I put out a blanket and snacks and told them to have a picnic. Well, this is their idea of a picnic....and the next thing I know, they are all in bathing suits, soaking up the sun! What in the world? Anyway, tomorrow will most likely be cold and rainy so I think we should enjoy it while we can right?

Rain, Rain, go AWAY
Boredom on school vacation
Every day this week I've had a different set of kids coming through! Although I have to say, it is all my own doing so that my kids don't get bored with all this fabulous New England weather we are having! So here is an example of what we do here when we are bored. We take photos, photos, and more photos. Here is Brendan and his cousin, Aaron, taking an upside down photo...
And see what else I can do?
Look at what I can do!
And the guilty party is..........
Never, ever leave the younger ones unattended!
Samma was playing with her friend Aubree, downstairs and Delaney decided to go hang out with the "big girls". They truly took advantage and made my poor baby girl look like she had leprosy.......of course, when I asked who did it, no one answered. So I took another photo which will show how I got to the bottom of that! In any event, never, ever, leave a sibling alone with a couple of 5 year olds with magic markers!

What are you looking at Blondie?
I caught this photo when Natalie was playing with one of Samma's barbie dolls. She almost looks as if she is telling her that blondes do NOT have more fun and that if she looks at her boyfriend again.......well, you get the picture!

The Easter Bunny
Brotherly Love
This photo was taken on Easter afternoon at my mom's house. We had such a wonderful day with the kids and they all seemed to have a great time together as a family. It made me feel so blessed to have such strong family traditions and such a wonderful family. This photo is one example of how much joy Natalie has brought to our family....
