They are doing WHAT?

Ok, here are photos of Samantha trying to show Delaney how to stop the hiccups by doing Yoga! These two are hysterically funny and when they go into their little pretend world they really get into it. When they fight, they fight, but when they get along, they get along. Of course, the hiccups did NOT stop! It was worth a shot though!

The Vaicius-Welch Vixen

I had to go get my hair done today and decided that I was going to follow in my lil' sister's footsteps and dye the hair vixen black! Yup.......I LOVE it.
Just thought I'd show ya my new look! Christy, quick, dye yours!

Hey Grandma........

what color is your bra? I swear that was what Delaney was asking Grandma and of course, Grandma just had to tell her what color it was! These kids crack me up!

Whos' your MAMA?

Do these two babies look alike or what????

What a freak!

Ok, now I know where my kids get it from. My kids have the best sense of humor and every chance they get, they do something that makes me laugh. So of course, I had to take this shot of Brian getting ready to mow the lawn, in full long sleeved gear so not to get poison ivy. Of course, he decided he was going to make his own invention and took one of LiLi's bibs and stuck it under his hat so he would have a "sweat" cloth.......talk about a clever lil' leprechaun!

The joke was on us!

Brian and I got sick of chasing Natalie through the house making sure she wasn't getting any of the food the kids leave around. She realized if she goes into the cabinets, she can find things that she is definitely allergic to, but taste yummy of course. So we find a neighbor who had an electric screwdriver and put in some childproof locks......

Ok, the joke was on us.........we thought it was child proof!

The Rides at Santa's Village and Storyland

Here is a great photo of us at Santa's Village on the monorail which takes you around the park at about 20-30 feet up in the air. Natalie loved it! The second set of photos are of us on the ride at Storyland called the "Bamboo Shoots"....yes, another water ride. It was H-O-T.
And I don't mean that in a Paris Hilton sense. I mean it was sweltering HOT that day!

Home from Vacation!

What a blast we had! The White Mountains were absolutely gorgeous, the views breathtaking and there was just so much to do that now I need a vacation from the vacation! The first day was spent at the pool because we got to the hotel at about 5 p.m. (and brian was still recovering from his severe bout of conjunctivitis that sent him to the hospital right before we left!). Monday was Santa's Village and at night we went to a bonfire and a "Todd the King of Silly Show".....Tuesday we hung out at the North Conway shops and the pool. Wednesday was Brian's birthday so we went to Storyland for the day! It was so darned hot that we left and ended up going out for an early dinner where Samma and I played a trick on Brian and had the waitstaff sing happy birthday! LOL. Wednesday night was the pool yet again and "Bobo the Clown" show while hanging out at the bonfire. Thursday was our down day........hung out at the pool ALL day. It was fun, but way too short, and the kids want to go again. I'll post more photos later, but here are a few that made me smile!

First a squirrel........

and now a turkey? Good lord, we are full of animals over here! Check out the coolest turkey standing on Brian's car........

A blast from the past.......

Robin made this for Brendan when he was a baby. Can you believe that 9 years later, my kids still play with this rocking horse. As you can see Auntie Robin, it is still a classic years later.

Smiley, happy, walking baby

10 months old and my baby girl has tons of teeth and is walking, almost running, through the house. We're trying to teach her how to say "flower" and every now and then I laugh because she says "fffffffffff" and I crack up.

These photos were taken yesterday, before we found out the majority of the house had strep throat! Samma has had it for three weeks now and has been treated twice. Natalie is on her second bout, and now I have it too! Took Della, Brendan, and Nattycakes back today and the only one who is negative is Della but her throat was red. So yup. We are all being treated, and sick as dogs, we are headed to new hampshire tomorrow for our Sunday-friday getaway. Sorry to say folks, my blogs wont' be updated until then!

Word to my Mutha!

Hiya mom....I just wanted to thanks for being such a great mom. Peace out and I hope you have a fabulous night! Love you!

Sleeping Siblings

I had to post this because it is a rare occurrence in my house. I never EVER see Brendan and Samma hanging out together. Last night they were watching tv together and were going to hang out and spend the night in the same room. That didn't last long at all, but it was nice to see them hanging out while they could!

The Accident

Today the girl's reenacted a car accident in the back yard. They were having so much fun checking out the front end damage, letting Samma hang off the front end of a car and last but not least Delaney (the bad driver) finally ended up on the side of the road!

More Fun in the Sun

Here is a great shot of Natalie playing in the sprinkler today. She absolutely loved it. I remember when Brendan was this age and so loved the sprinklers. Brought back some great memories!

and a great shot of Delaney running naked after the sprinkler blew her clothes off.

Water Fight!

It was one of those days where we wanted to keep the kiddos nice and comfortable during the summer heat......so we decided to have a water balloon fight! Woooo hoooo. We ganged up on Brendan & Aaron and they had no idea what hit them at first. But then they fought back! It was fun....

And while I was chasing my friend, Spike.....

I discovered a drawing on the front door of my truck. Yup. A drawing. Not sure if you can see it too clearly in the photo, but it is a photo of a person. A stick person to be exact with a very big head! Anyway, it wasn't drawn on, it was imbedded somehow. Time for a new paint job? I don't know who did it, and I don't want to point fingers here, but my guess is a 5 year old artist who draws everywhere. Hmmmmmmm. Anyway, the kids got a yelling at! Boy was I ever miffed. There goes my trade-in value.

Little critter!

I could not believe it when I stepped out to get something out of my car and low and behold was "Spike" the squirrel. This little bugger was eating a nut, just enjoying the view from the window of my car! Can you believe it? Wise guy! Anyway, he gave chase, running through my car, sitting in Della's car seat and then hopping out the other window...I guess I really and truly should have rolled my windows up. My bad!

He finally ate the darned carrot!

Dr. Doolittle Samma feeding Buddy his carrot....

Buddy and Samma Lamma Dingdong

Here is Samma hanging out with her hamster, Buddy, while she is feeding him a carrot......he's loving the attention.

Yessss! Finally I have a girlie girl!

Here are a few shots of Della playing with her "BFF" Maeve. They love playing dollies together and my lil' Della is just such a natural at taking care of her dollies. Isn't it sweet?

It has finally happened!

Not only is my Lil' LiLi learning new tricks every day, but now she is climbing out of her playpen as you can see........

And as of the last week, she is taking 6 steps or more at a time! She is officially walking at 10 months old! Before I know it her first birthday will be here.....

My babies getting some doggie lovin'

We had so much fun with Christy & Cindy, and although it's great to go spend time with my sister and her girlfriend and hang out at the pool, we also love to get some puppy lovin' as well. When we had Jolie, things were so chaotic with the kids and the dog. Now, we miss her, but we are always grateful when we get to stop by and hang out with her for a while. In retrospect, I know we made the right decision because Natalie is so allergic. I do believe everything happens for a reason. I'm just glad Jolie is with Christy again and it's so nice to see her happy and healthy. We love her and Apollo too much........

Our friend Aragon the Sea Horse!

Here's the gang, hanging out on the sea horse!

Sea Horse!

Sometimes we get bored with the same old, same old. Here is a great shot of our new toy, Aragon, the sea horse. He's a giant sea horse and the kids had a blast riding him. Here is Samma in all her glory hanging out on her new best friend, Aragon....

And later on.....

Lili and Mommy after the Benadryl took effect and she was happily snuggling in my arms. How sweet it is on a hot summer day to be holding such a beautiful baby! My last baby! My almost one year old baby!
