For Robin & Scott

Please take a moment to keep Robin & Scott in your thoughts & prayers today. For those of you who have not seen Robin's blog, please take a moment to sign onto it today and lend your support and kind words http://www.robincita.blogspot.com/. Unfortunately, Scott & Robin have lost their baby and they are both emotionally drained right now. I just want them both to know that they have all the love & support from their family and friends, and if they should need ANYTHING at all, we are here at any time.

We love you Robin & Scott.

Love,
Stacey, Brian, Brendan, Samma, Della & Natalie

The things kids say.......

My kids have been quite amusing lately and have been saying really funny things. For instance, Samantha was wondering why the letter "W" is called "double u" and not "double v"......Hmmm. Good question......

Delaney loves to say "I love you" and when I say "I love you too much" she'll say "I love you three much".........

And then there's Natalie......this girl is growing up so quickly before my very eyes. She always knows how to make me smile. Here she is telling us what happened to her pants......enjoy!

School Vacation Week and the Potato Heads

Ahhhhhhh School vacation week. Some mom's dread it, some mom's like it. I guess I'm somewhere in between. I'm grateful that I don't have to do drop offs, pick ups, and all that stuff. I don't like boredom though and this week has been slow because mommy is sick....yup. I'm sick. I went to the dr.'s last night and have that flu that's going around. I've been aching, coughing, and getting a temp. It's gross. So here I am under the weather and my kids just want to do some fun stuff. Samma went out with a friend this week, yesterday we had a fashion show at girl scouts, and Brian has taken Brendan and Aaron to the Weymouth Club to swim and play basketball. Then Natalie got sick yesterday. Two major ear infections and conjunctivitis. Geez. What a vacation!

However, there are days when you have to just let it all go and improvise. Today was one of those mornings. So I did something that I used to do when I was younger to my kids. I hope you enjoy the "singing potato heads"

It didn't take too long.........

for Delaney to realize that the HUMUNGOUS Dora the Explorer (see photo) Auntie Christy and Auntie Cindy got her for her birthday actually had clothes that you could take off and well......clothes that she could wear herself! As I predicted, here she is wearing Dora's clothes and having fun with her Dora Doll......LOL. Thank you to both her aunties................

The After photos.......

Here are the handsome boys AFTER their haircuts. Of course, Aaron was mad because he wanted a "buzz" cut and his father told me he could get anything BUT a buzz.......so he wasn't too happy with it. However, he's cleaned up and looking GOOOOOOOOOD.

Before..........

Here are photos of Aaron (a.k.a. Chia Pet) and Brendan BEFORE I took them for their hair cuts.......Aaron is staying with me until Thursday night and truly hates getting his hair cut. However, I told him if he was staying with me, the hair was coming off......so these are before....stayed tuned for the after!

Happy Birthday Delaney Kate

Delaney is 3! Wow. I so cannot believe it. I remember holding her in my arms at the hospital. Gazing into her beautiful blue eyes and falling head over heels in love with her. I remember being so excited when I woke up that morning in labor because she was hopefully going to be born on Valentine's Day. What a present! She just made it with a few hours to spare. The nurses were trying to get me to change her middle name to "Amore" or "Love" or possibly even Valentina.....Delaney Kate just sounded perfect. She was almost "Miranda" but she just looked like a Delaney to me......so.........

Happy Birthday to my baby girl Della. She had a princess party last weekend. She had a spaghetti party the night of her birthday (candles in the spaghetti and all) and then I made her a princess cake for her Friday night "family" party. She got a doll house from Mommy, Daddy, Brendan, Samma & Natalie.....it is bigger than she is! Grandma & Papa got her the remote control barbie car she was wishing for.....She had quite a week......and when Auntie Christy & Auntie Cindy came over with her giant Dora......well, that just put an end to a perfect birthday week!

So here are some photos of her birthday and of course, one from the day she was born!

Congratulations to my Lil' Sis and Brother-in-Law

This has been a long time coming and I couldn't be happier. As a matter of fact, it is kind of like a bit of a delayed reaction. I keep saying it......I'm gonna be a real "blood" aunt. Wow. That's awesome. For so long I thought I would be the only one who would have kids and that I would only experience the "auntie" world through my nieces and nephews on Brian's side. Now I can say I'm going to be a true blue aunt! And how excited am I?

I keep saying it. It's fun to say......LOL. I'm gonna be an Auntie. I think I called everyone yesterday - all my friends are very happy for me by the way:)

So here is a photo of my beautiful lil' sis and her hubby and although "Lil F" is not in the photo (he or she wasn't even a thought at that point right guys?)- he/she will be in future photos! I cannot wait.

So to my sister, who will be a wonderful mother, I am so happy and excited for you as you enter into the world of mommyhood. I cannot tell you how different life becomes when you have a child together. Your life is an extension into someone else and it is such a nice feeling to look into their eyes and know that you have someone to always love forever. The love is unconditional.....

To my brother-in-law, Scott: I was so excited the other night that I forgot to ask Robin to put you on the phone! I am so happy for you as well and I know you will make a great dad to my niece or nephew. Thanks for making me an Auntie. You don't know HOW happy this makes me.....

Love you both and I cannot wait to meet my niece or nephew in about 7 1/2 months or so.......maybe on September 10th? (someone did tell Robin that pregnancy is almost 10 months right)??? LOL.
