Natalie's new dance

We all know that Natalie is a dancing queen. She decided today to add a new dance to the mix and I just happened to have the video on her at the time. Usually she'll shake her lil' bum or swing from side to side, sometimes she'll even hop a bit. She does her lil' bit called "break it down" where she bends at the waist, puts one arm up in the air and flaps it spinning wildly in a circle (this one is hysterical in itself). Today she decided to do what I call "Mi Mi's wave" which is similar to the "sprinkler" that was out years ago.......so here she is..........call her crazy MiMi.

Samantha & Her Auntie.........

I took this photo of Christy & Sam on Father's Day. I just wanted to share because it came out so great and because they have so much in common! Samantha looks up to Christy so much and just loves the fact that she likes the same things (such as boxer shorts! LOL). Anyway, thanks Christy and Cindy for having us over. The kids loved every second of it!

Meet "Miranda the Mountaineer"

Yes, the entire family has to name their cars! LOL. So meet our newest member, Miranda. We just traded in our 2002 Ford Explorer for this beautiful 2006 Mercury Mountaineer! I am so in love with this truck that I have not come out of it in two days! The inside has black leather interior, a moon roof, third row seats, running boards, and for the kids, a DVD player in the back. It is so exciting to have something so new and the truck rides beautifully!

So Vera the Exterra, meet Miranda the Mountaineer........your new cousin!!!! We'll have to take side by side family photos at the next gathering which will be on Sunday!!!! Whoooooooooo Hoooooooooo.

Busy little bees........

Samantha found this little bee making honey today. This is the start of what is going to be a bee's nest, right under where the hose is held on the side of the house. So instead of hanging the hose, I made sure we steered clear of the area so that this busy lil' bee could do it's thing this year. The bee reminded me of my grandfather, Pepa, who passed away years ago. He loved bees and did some beekeeping in his day.......something so simple, just reminded me of something so wonderful :) I love sweet sweet memories.

We are back from vacation

Brian and I went away this weekend to a luxury resort down the Cape. If you all remember, Brian and I were supposed to go to Florida in April, but with lack of babysitting help and my restrictions on not flying, we were unable to do so. Brian's company decided to send us on our "own" little anniversary vacation and it was amazing!

Thanks to my brother-in-law Billy and his girlfriend, Katie, for babysitting for 4 days! You guys rock! The kids loved spending time with them and the kids love their "Auntie Katie and Uncle Bibby". So thanks again so much......without you, my get away would not have been possible. I feel so fortunate to have you both in my lives!

The room was fabulous. We had a spa luxury suite with a 52" plasma TV, a fireplace, a sauna, a jacuzzi tub (the water came from the ceiling!!!!) and I even got a facial. The weather was good, the view of the beach was just breathtaking, and we just really did...........NOTHING. We sat around and relaxed all weekend.

So here are a few photos of us relaxing, enjoying our weekend! Back to reality! Now I get to go pick up my new truck today! My Explorer was having transmission issues and instead of sinking money into it constantly we decided to get me a new baby. "Miranda" my Mercury Mountaineer will be making her debut on my blog soon!
