How would I know if it's the Greatest Show on Earth?

Today I took Samantha and Delaney to the Barnum & Bailey's Circus of Dreams at the Boston Garden. They were so excited they could barely contain themselves. We met my cousin, Dawn, and her daughter (my godbaby) Jamie at Nana Yola's and carpooled in.....the girls were thrilled. We got there, our seats were great! The circus started, the lights went down low and wouldn't ya know they decide to send out a big dragon on wheels, snorting smoke! Ok, Delaney lost it....it actually looked as if the thing was coming right at us! So I calmed her down after repeated chants of "I want to go home now, I want to go home now" and then the strong man comes out. They decide to shoot a cannon ball out of a cannon into his stomach. Ok, if the dragon didn't make the kid lose it, the cannon did! This all happened within the first 10 minutes so of course I sat the remainder of the two hours in the lobby putting in occasional "peeks" through the curtain to which she would turn around and run! So we sat, had ice cream, bought a souvenir and played until it was all over. Thank goodness Dawn came with us or she would have had to sit through the thing screaming because there was no way I was getting Samma out of there. She loved it. So they say it's the Greatest Show on Earth. Hmmmmm. I wouldn't know. I never saw it.............*sniff sniff, sob sob*

So here are a few photos of Delaney showing me the mean, ugly, dragon face and of course, enjoying some ice cream.....in the lobby.

Dude, like mother like daughter. Weren't you petrified of clowns? Or was that Christy...????

Tell Blondie she has nothing to worry about. Uncle Robin has no problem beating up anyone that makes her cry.
