The newest members of our family

After a long, long night of listening to Samma cry about her pets, I took her today to get a new pet. We weren't sure what we were going to get at first, but we ruled out pretty much anything that will get my kids sick (remember the old turtle and salmonella thing a few years back with Brendan?)- anyway, she wanted a turtle. Nope. Then she wanted a frog. Even bigger no. Gecko? Lizard. Nope, nope, nope. A bird (daddy's allergic to feathers) and a rat....big fat N-O. So she finds this cute little guy in the corner. I caved and said yes. So here he is, the newest member of our family, "Lightning"......it was supposed to be "Lucky" but she changed her mind when she opened the box and it took quite a chase for us to catch him and put him back in the cage. Fast little bugger he is! Cho-chi was so tame.....this guy is just hyper city. So here is Lightning Cinnamon Welch. Isn't he cute?

And of course, Della couldn't leave without a new beta. So please welcome our newest member of the fish family, Nemo Dory Welch.
